Guest: Matthew Kahn

Matthew E. Kahn is a distinguished economist specializing in environmental and urban economics. He currently serves as the Provost Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California and holds a position as a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution.

Kahn's research focuses on the intersection of economics with environmental and urban issues. In 2022, he published a book titled "Going Remote: How the Flexible Work Economy Can Improve Our Lives and Our Cities" with the University of California Press. This work explores the potential impacts of remote work on urban development and quality of life.

Kahn has also conducted research on the economic geography of remote work, as evidenced by his blog post for UC Press and his collaborative work with Emma Harrington.
